Wheyhey Smoothie Bowl

With summer well and truly on its way (here’s hoping for sunshine!) there is nothing better than a Wheyhey ice-cream smoothie bowl. Check out this combination created for us by The Nutritionista, to start the morning off to give your breakfast that refreshing summery vibe.

The combination of Wheyhey vanilla protein ice cream, frozen bananas, maca and almond milk make for the perfect creamy cooling smoothie. Not to mention the added protein kick from wheyhey and superfood goodness the maca and chia seeds add to the mix. What a dreamy combination!

Ingredients;
2 x 150ml tubs of wheyhey vanilla protein icecream
1 large banana chopped and frozen
1 dessert spoon of Maca powder (for a malty caramel taste)
A splash of almond milk – depending on how thick you want the smoothie
Toppings (optional)- blueberries, desiccated coconut and chia seeds

Method:
1. Chop the banana into small pieces and freeze
2. Once frozen blend the banana, wheyhey ice cream, maca and almond milk until a thick consistency has formed
3. Add your chosen topping and enjoy
